As a college sophomore, it was a very eye-opening and humbling experience to find myself surrounded by successful entrepreneurs, judges, mentors, and investors.Wanting to learn more, I decided to intern for their accelerator program, where I met the founders of Trufan – Aanikh Kler and Swish Goswami. Swish suggested that I interview the people I meet as a way of learning more about startups, the various industries people are in, as well as to expand my personal network.I loved that advice, but the introverted me was hesitant to take action. WHAT? You want me to INTERVIEW people? And not just any people – founders and CEOs! I tried to push this idea away, but it kept resurfacing. Finally, when I was locked home during a 14-day quarantine after traveling back to Taiwan, this idea broke through and I reached out to Swish to do my first interview. The stories I heard were too good to keep to myself. I decided to turn my interviews into a podcast.The Seed was launched on May 20, 2020. Today, I have interviewed over 58 founders across the world and listened to crazy stories ranging from cricket protein to 16 year-olds already selling their own businesses.This has been an amazing journey.
